Pete Wallbank

The first item auctioned in last year's auction was an original commission by artist Pete Wallbank. Pete and the winning bidder have been kind enough to share the finished picture. I'm sure you'll agree that the finished picture is a fantastic painting.

Our thanks again to Pete for starting the 2010 auction in such a great way.

Art For Hearts Doctor Who auction has started!

Up on ebay for the next seven days is the auction of artist Pete Wallbank's original art commission:

"Acclaimed artist Pete Wallbank will create a "Doctor Who" themed piece of artwork to your specification. The commissioned piece can be whatever you like! If you’re the winner of this item, not only will you get a finished product of your choosing from a successful originator of Doctor Who book, video, and magazine covers and calendars, but you’ll also receive any of its preliminary sketches; an excellent bonus considering you’d only be paying for the final piece.

The accompanying picture is an example of one of Pete’s stunning commissions and is not for sale."

Our thanks to Pete for his very kind donation.

The auction

The next "Art for Hearts" auction will be starting on the 4th of July. We'll be auctioning an original commission by artist Pete Wallbank on Ebay.

We are very grateful to Pete for his generous contribution.

Pete Wallbank

Artist Pete Wallbank has been in contact. Pete has been responsible for a number of Doctor Who video, book, magazine covers and calendars.

Rather than donate a piece of artwork for the auction Pete has very kindly offered to create a commissioned piece of artwork for the highest bidder. For this original piece the winner gets to choose what they would like.
As part of the package they would receive all of the original preliminary work as well - it could end up as several original works for the price of one!

The accompanying artwork is an example of Pete's stunning artwork. For further examples please check out Pete's website in the Links section.

As always, keep reading the blog for details on when the artwork will be auctioned.

Our thanks to Pete for his very kind donation.
